It is important to note that while the card brands have made these changes, the contactless limit is set by card issuers. Please note that each card issuer may set their own contactless thresholds for their cards. If a customer is unclear why they cannot tap up to $250 on their card, please advise them to contact their card issuer at the number on the back of their card.
