With the ISPO Award 2021, ISPO is honoring outstanding products and services in the sports industry for the tenth time. Companies from the entire sporting goods industry can submit their innovations until December 4, 2020 – until November 6 at the early bird rate.

With the ISPO Award , ISPO selects highlighted top products in the sports industry every year. An international and neutral jury of experts consisting of media representatives, dealers, athletes, consumers and material experts evaluates several hundred submissions based on criteria such as design, function, sustainability and innovation. Companies from the entire sports industry are welcome to participate, regardless of whether they are exhibiting at an ISPO trade fair or not.

Franziska Zindl, Head of Awards & Innovation at ISPO, assumes that there will be a large participation: “For the ISPO Award 2021 we are expecting trend-setting new products more than ever, as many companies have reduced, postponed or even canceled their collections in the summer due to Corona bundle all your strength for the coming season. ”

ISPO Award: Award with a strong impact

In order to offer the innovations an even greater reach, the award ceremony will be live streaming for the first time at ISPO Munich 2021. This gives the award-winning products even more international visibility in front of a global audience.

The ISPO Award has been the seal of approval for innovation, quality and functionality with a high external impact for ten years in various segments – from outdoor and snow sports to running to fitness and team sports. The winners benefit several times:

  • The specialist trade is based on the ISPO Award and includes this in the next range selection.
  • The ISPO Award serves consumers as a purchase argument
  • For journalists, the ISPO Award is a source of information about the highlights of the next sports season

The winners also receive a comprehensive communication and benefits package. With the ISPO award label, hangtags and stickers for product labeling at the point of sale (POS) as well as product features and a comprehensive media presence on the news platform ISPO.com, this offers a number of additional marketing options for increased marketing External perception in sports retail and among consumers.

Early bird bonus and exhibitor discount

Companies can benefit from special early bird tariffs for product submissions until November 6, 2020.

In addition, exhibitors at ISPO Munich and ISPO Beijing pay only 125 euros (instead of 325 euros) for the early bird tariff and 200 euros (instead of 450 euros) for the regular tariff per product submission.
